There it is folks. We have just ended three weeks worth of round-robin stage in the PMPL MY / SG S1. It was great to see the PUBG MOBILE Community coming together to support their favourite teams and this league also marks the first time Singapore to be included in the official PUBG MOBILE competitive scene.
As for now, who would’ve expected Team Bapak Ah Esports, a team full of young blood dominating the league through the whole three weeks session of exciting games and actions. Nonetheless, the loudest cheers were heard online towards Team Yoodo Gank and Team Secret as they are one of the longest-established team in Malaysia.
The community sure is great, and we actually recorded a peak viewership of 46.1K during the last games where Team Yoodo Gank, Last Survivor R2K and Team Secret battle it out during the final circles to get the last chicken dinner in the round-robin stage. For those who watched it last night, it was so close for Yoodo Gank to emerged as the Top 1 placement but rather, their journey was ended by Team Secret. So thank you for staying with us until the very end of Round-Robin.
Even as the back-end crew of PMPL, most of us had our own cheers towards our favourite teams and players at the same time. It really has been an extraordinary experience to be working with different players in all sorts of fun personality. Surely there are some hiccups during PMPL, especially the event was temporarily halted due to the Movement Control Order, but we managed to kick it back up and concluded the Round-Robin.
With that, here are your 16 teams that will be going to the Grand Finals
Bapak Ah Esports
Last Survivor R2K
Team No Recoil
TARA Proyecto X
FV Unbeatable Gaming
The 16 qualified teams are now lined up heading into Grand Finals scheduled to run in two weeks time, happening on 13-15 April live exclusively on PUBG MOBILE
