As PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) has taken the gaming world by storm, its mobile division is not falling out as well. A total of 384 teams across Malaysia has battled it out in order to secure a spot in one of the 16 teams to be qualified for the National finals.
After a series of qualifiers, a total of 12 teams were qualified to fight for the RM114,000 prize pool, in addition with four direct invited teams to the PMNC Finals. Among the invited teams are AROV, Team Secret, Junior Talent and ViP Squad.
The 16 teams went through a series of games in the finals to collect points, with the teams scoring the highest wins the championship. Spanning from 13-14 July 2019, the teams were located in Quill City Mall for the event, and as a result, Victorious in Play has emerged as the winner of PMNC 2019, where they take home RM40,000 and a free mobile plan for a year from Yoodo.
It does not come as a surprise as the four invited teams did manage to get a place in the top four, with AROV Esports comes in second place, Junior Talent in third place, and Team Secret in fourth. Additionally, the top four teams in PMNC will be qualified to compete in the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) SEA League, where the highest-scoring Malaysian team will be representing the nation in the PMCO Fall Split.
